About us.

Destined For Greater Ministries is a Christ-centered ministry committed to empowering lives, fulfilling purpose, and embracing destiny. Located in Phoenix, Arizona, we exist to help individuals grow spiritually, discover their identity in Christ, and walk boldly in their God-given calling.

 

Under the leadership of Pastor Cardell Hicks, our church is built on the foundation of the Word of God, authentic community, and transformational teaching.

 

Through worship, discipleship, outreach, and programs like Men On a Mission (M.O.M) Daughters of Destiny and She Speaks, we create spaces where healing, growth, and purpose collide. We believe every person has been created for greater, and we are here to help you walk in it.

What we believe.

We believe in one true God who exists in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who came to earth, lived a sinless life, died for our sins, and rose again with all power so that we may have eternal life through Him. We believe the Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God and serves as the ultimate authority for our lives. We believe in the power of prayer, the presence of the Holy Spirit, and the transforming power of salvation through Jesus Christ. We believe the church is called to be a light in the world, demonstrating love, extending grace, and leading others into a life-changing relationship with Christ.

Our history.

Destined For Greater Ministries was founded with a vision to empower lives, fulfill purpose, and help individuals embrace their God-given destiny. What began as a step of faith has grown into a thriving ministry rooted in the Word of God, prayer, and a passion for transformation. From the very beginning, the heart of DFGM has been to reach people where they are, provide a place of healing and restoration, and equip them to walk boldly in their purpose. Through consistent teaching, outreach efforts, and impactful programs such as Men On a Mission (M.O.M.), Daughters of Destiny and She Speaks, the ministry has continued to expand its reach within the Phoenix community and beyond. Today, Destined For Greater Ministries stands as a beacon of hope, empowering individuals and families to grow in faith, build meaningful connections, and live a life marked by purpose and destiny.
